Madinati: a Tunisian family board game in Darija
A family property game for tablets, fully in Tunisian Arabic: 40 squares named after Tunisian towns, two characters who explain every turn out loud, four seasons, auctions and offline play.

The challenge
Digital board games are rarely designed for a Tunisian family evening: a foreign language, eliminated players who drop out, and rules nobody wants to read.
The solution
Two characters who narrate the game in Darija, a bankrupt player who becomes the auctioneer instead of being eliminated, seasons that change income, a solidarity mechanic between richest and poorest, locally generated music and a full-screen PWA install that works offline.
The results
A complete 7-screen game for 2 to 4 players on one tablet, written without any framework.
